What time is the Downtown DISNEY area open to in Walt DISNEY World?

I was just wondering if anyone knew what time Downtown Disney opened and closed? I looked on the website, and they have the park times for all the other parks, but it doesnt say anything about downtown Disney, so does anyone have any idea? Well be there in late August, if that makes a difference.
Answer: it depends on what you are asking about. pleasure island is usually open late until about 2 or 3. everyone starts trickling out of the boardwalk around 2 or 3 at the latest. all bars have to close at 2:00 a.m. downtown Disney i assume is the same because they have house of blues and the cirque de soleil which i'm sure have late shows (as well as the movie theater AMC). however, most stores will close around 9 or 10 at the latest so if its shopping you want to do, go earlier.

What DISNEY property most deserves a spot in the next Kingdom Hearts game?

Out of any of the Disney worlds that havent already been tried, which ones do you think would be good worlds for the next Kingdom Hearts game? I personally think The Princess and The Frog would be great for Kingdom Hearts. Dr. Facilier is a unique villain and the setting (1920s New Orleans) has some good potential. Also, for a more obscure one, Atlantis: The Lost Empire. It had a lot of action and exploration for a Disney movie, so think of how it would work for a Square-Enix RPG.

What is the difference between a walt DISNEY and a DISNEY movie?

I always though that if it was Walts idea then it was a walt Disney movie and if not it was Disney movie. I recently found out thats not true. so what makes something a Disney movie and what makes it a walt Disney movie?
Answer: There's actually no such thing as just a "Disney Movie". The proper name for all of them is a "Walt Disney Movie", but people shorten it to a "Disney Movie". It's Walt Disney World, not Disney World. It's the Walt Disney Company, not the Disney company. There is no difference between the two, they are the exact same thing. Anything attached to Disney has Walt's name in front of it, whether people include it or not. Most Walt Disney movies weren't Walt's ideas anyways - most were ancient fairy tales created by Brothers Grimm, Aesops Fables, or others. So the creator of the storyline has nothing to do with the movie company name in this case. The only movies that are different are Pixar movies, since the Walt Disney Corporation collaborated with Pixar to make certain films. Other than that, any movie you watch with Cinderella Castle at the beginning, is a Walt Disney film, or if you prefer, a Disney film. =-)

During the summer, I noticed they stopped doing Disney junior and did regular Disney so we started watching more pbs and sprout. I was just wondering if anyone knew when the "regular" Disney junior times will start back since school has started back?
Answer: Probably after labor day weekend. They just stop showing that as much because older kids are home during the summer that don't want to watch that.

What are DISNEYs current thoughts on coming back to traditional animation?

The opinion of most fans who have seen "The Princess and the Frog" is that its the best film since the "Disney Renaissance"... and its traditionally animated, just like those famous animated Disney films. Has anyone heard news on how Disney feels about this, and if theyre planning on continuing the traditional animation/musical movie style revival?
Answer: The traditionally-animated film before The Princess and the Frog was Home on the Range. It did very poorly, and Disney decided it would be the LAST traditionally animated film. Several years later they relented with The Princess and the Frog. But I think they still consider traditional animation the 'back burner'. They make more money and get more attention these days with the digital efforts. And they really are wonderful, but I miss the traditional animation. Their main 'target demographic', kids and families, like the digital pics better. Plus I think these days the computer-generated animation is cheaper, even as beautifully and elaborately as they do it.

Im planning a trip to Walt Disney World with a group of people with different interests. Wed like to split up during the day and meet up later. There are 8 attractions that we know about: 1) The Magic Kingdom 2) EPCOT 3) MGM Studios 4) The Animal Kingdom 5) Walt Disney World Speedway 6) Wide World of Sports 7) Disneys Boardwalk 8) Downtown Disney Is there bus service between all of them? Is it one bus that goes in a loop or can you take a more direct route between them? Can you walk between some of them? What is the best way without a car? Thanks!
Answer: Take the bus transportation from Downtown Disney. This way, you can park your car for free and take the busses everywhere else. When you arrive at the bus loading area (located near the end of Downtown Disney's Rainforest Cafe), you'll see different loading stations for different places. Wait under the sign of the place you wish to board and you're good to go! Just keep in mind that these busses also make stops along the way, so it may take a while. Plan way in advance to get up early.
