For my sons 15th birthday I surprised him with tickets to fly to NJ from OH to see Bon jovi, These are VIP Tickets which puts us onstage during 3 songs. At 50, I dont have the body I did as a teenager, but wear no more than a size 6 or 8 depending on the cut. What can I wear that will be trendy, but will not make me look like I am trying to compete with the "kids" and something that wont embarrass my son. I dont want to look like a frumpy mom....lol!! How to dress as jon BON JOVI for halloween?
How do i dress up like Bon jovi for halloween. Im only 15 so i wasnt around in the eighties which sucks. But i really want to go as him for halloween. I dont have long hair and im getting a wig but how do i make the wig look like his big shaggy hair and i was thinking for the clothes leather pants a vintage rock tee a studded belt and converse sneakers. Does that sound right i need help on this big time lol
Answer: You got it almost right except....Jon never wore sneakers. He wore boots. And Jon didn't wear leather pants(most of the time) He wore jeans. Think hair metal but with a little country added. You should be able to "shag" the wig to make it look like his hair did then. To do that you hold the hair up on the wig and cut it up and down cutting into what a hair dresser would call feathers. If you can find a vintage t that actually has Bon jovi on it then that would work though if you can't Jon just often wore black t's (they all did back then) The studded belt is a great idea. If it is still warm on Halloween where you live you could try for his later look. Which was a little more native American/ cowboy...

If it is cold there and you go with what you mentioned then you should at least look a lot like a member of a hair metal band. You can just tell people that ask who you are. Don't worry if someone doesn't know right off who you are. Remember the 80's were a while back and not everyone can name the singers from then. Good luck and I hope you have lots of fun. I knew Jon many years ago and I think he would be thrilled that you want to look like him for the holiday.

How early should I arrive to a BON JOVI concert?
For the last 6 years of my life, Ive been waiting for tomorrow night. Im finally going to see Bon jovi!! I got floor seats at Madison Square Garden. The doors open at 6:30. I expect that there will be a huge crowd and the sooner I get there, the better. Im wondering if any of you who have experience could advise me as to how early I should get there. Also, Im 58. Will I be able to see? Should I bring something to stand on?

If youve got reserved seating then really you can leave it til the last minute to arrive as you won't have to jostle for a space. Ive been to both open stadiums (where you stand) and closed seated arenas. When we've attended seated arenas we've not gone in until about half an hour before Jovi get on the stage (they usually get on stage around 8pm) - you walk right on in and into your seat. The only time you need to worry is if there is no reserved seating and you want a spot closer to the front - then you have to get there mega early to start queueing so that you get a good spot - otherwise you are too far away. When we do open stadiums we get there in the morning as early as poss and queue all day until gates open at 6.30 - we've had some great spots by doing that.
But last year at London O2, we didn't arrive til later, hung around outside for a bit, and then walked straight on in to our seats which were at the front. Not much queueing, no jostling, nothing. You may find the crowd has calmed down if you leave it later. ...but i love getting in the thick of it and queueing with like-minded people, it can be fun if there's a group of you to have a laugh with to pass the time.
As for your height, i'm 5'4" and i never have any trouble seeing. You will be absolutely fine.

Who is the opening act for the BON JOVI concert in Las Vegas on March 6th?
I have tickets to the upcoming Bon jovi concert but cant find out who the opening act is. I have an important prior engagement that night also but dont want to miss the concert. I am fine with missing the opening act and getting there in time for the actual concert but I dont know what time I should get there. The concert starts at 8pm.
