It is part of the cuts in the 2012 budget but Boehner and Cantor (as well as a Dem Congressman OH) where the engine is assembled keep saying no we cant cut this project. Is the GOP serious about spending cuts or not?
Answer: I can tell you exactly why. First excuse the gammatical and spelling errors. But it all lies with the definition of "pork barrel spending". What Is it? The clinical definition is, and I'm paraphrasing, wasteful spending that goes to 1 particular area and not another. But the more common definition is "Any money that is not coming HERE" (HERE being where ever YOU are). That leaves all law makers in a moral mine field. On one hand if you take "pork" you may be nationally crucified, but unless your running for president, the nation can't vote for you. Add the fact that the people in your district will like you "bringing home the bacon". On the other hand, if you don't take the pork the nation will praise you. But if your constituency finds out they could have had something and now won't, will you be re elected? In short, IF I FILL YOUR POCKETS, YOU WILL VOTE FOR ME

But will continue to deny it, that it's their duty and conditions pressed them to it; incompetent, it serves the bondholders at the expense of the common folk. It is treason of the people's trust. I would vote for communism if it put power in my hands and the hands of common folk. Or not, if that system somehow get corrupted too.
