I was offered 35/1 by PADDY POWER on a Spain v. Germany Final before the start of the World Cup?
Have I been ripped off? Was this ever possible? Looking at the fixtures they are obviously both in the same side of the draw and I dont ever recall teams going back into a hat in a World Cup. Should I ask for a refund or was that fixture possible in the final?

Well, the Paddy power advert says that you can bet on them covering certain aspects of the game, however i have been on there site and can find nowhere to place this bet. I would be very grateful if you could help me as from the advert it basically guarentees what they will have odds on so this is an obvious bet to make and would be easy money to make. Thanks.
Answer: Not necessarily. I only bet with Paddy power and i think you picked it up a little bit different than what was meant to be suggested. Basically they are renowned for money back specials etc etc and offers and they claim to offer odds on anything. Now this depends on whats reasonable not like odds of an alien landing on a ship off the coast of england in june with a dagger in his hand and a gun pointed in a westerly direction while singing the french national anthem within twenty seconds of landing :)
Il answer in two ways. 1) in the shops - Shop only offers, where they are on the screens can be found everyday covering a range of sports or racing around that time .. eg all 6 of a certain trainers horses to place at a racetrack that day at say odds of 33/1 or mesi and rooney both to score in that nights games at 7/1 etc etc these are not available as specials online but meant to attract shop customers as they constantly flash up on the screens in the shops.
2) online customers can have specials that are only available online similar type bets to shop specials but unless you see them online and in the shops you would be unaware they are offered in both if they are of course!!!! Lets say money back on all single first try scorer bets if brian o driscoll scores the last try of a stated game ...
These adverts are everywhere and thats why you see them advertised so often. Usually they dont win believe me ive tried many times ... but its a way to get the bookies more revenue as they might know that one or two horses have never placed in any race from 30+ races but does the customer know that?? Paddy sure will know ;)
Now your specific question ..... paddy says you can bet on them covering certain aspects of 'the game' .... what is meant is that they will give odds if you ask them not necessarily provide them to you without you quearying (excuse the grammer) You need to send an email to the support staff at PP's and within a few hrs you will get odds back. Ive often asked for odds on specific details on events like "Ireland to beat South Africa and New Zealand by a combined total of 15 points or more in the Rugby" ... this would not have been available for me to see in the shops or online .. if you can see what i mean !!!! The reply for the example i gave just now was 25/1 :)
On the flip side you could just ask them for odds on the colour of the referees and officials jersey's in the game between man utd and chelsea this sunday .... but the price is more than likely going to be 1/4 odds that the jersey's will be black ... and say 11/10 for a yellow jersey !!!!

Answer: If you win on paddypower those winnings are then automatically updated into your paddypower account. You are then able to transfer the funds to either your credit card or account etc. Whatever method you deposited funds into paddypower in the first place, you can manually transfer any winnings back.
